I am a veteran software architect and engineer who began his career in 1998 with a vast skillset of of technologies across the stack in the spaces of online multiplayer gaming, social networking, video streaming/sharing, peer-to-peer technologies, Developer SDKs, scientific research, artificial intelligence, data mining/analysis and virtual reality systems. Besides engineering, I have experience in project management, internet marketing , software/game design, UI/UX development and graphic design. My strengths include being a quick study, which has provided me a lot of broad knowledge of different technologies over the years, my creativity and passion for invention which has allowed me to find better solutions to given systems and pioneer new software solutions to increase functionality and profitability. I work best in startup environments allowing me to wear many hats and invest myself in the success of the business. I have a business mind and entrepreneurial passion, constantly developing business plans and prototyping new app inventions as well as reading up on new technologies to know as much as I can about my field.
Developed several scripts to process statistical data collected from experimental participants in order to calculate statistical significance of proposed hypotheses
Performed independent research on visual and auditory perception, including softwarebased models such as neural networks, statistical learning algorithms, ngram analyses, speech recognition as well as natural language processing, perceptual learning systems involved in syntax recognition using C++ and Python
Assisted in running participants through experiments, collecting data and troubleshooting software used
Developed tools in MATLAB to process data for research lab
Aided in analyzing of MRI data on human subjects, including finding correlations between regions of the cortex and cognitive processes
Conducted academic research to aid principal investigator, including research on highrisk behaviors and the hypothesized systems of decisionmaking that humans undergo along with computer models based on human decisionmaking, evaluation of rewards over risk and how game theory applies
Performed independent research on the cognitive processes involved in risky behavior and decisionmaking involved, as well as computer models of such cognitions
