Lee McCormick is a seasoned municipal finance professional with decades of leadership experience in tax-exempt private activity bonds and clean energy financing. Based in Frisco, TX, Lee McCormick has held leadership roles at companies such as Sierra Management Group and Community Development Associates, where he worked on public infrastructure and economic development financing.
Mr. McCormick earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University and an MBA from the University of Houston. Since 2003, he has led Community Development Associates, where he manages the Mission Economic Development Corporation’s statewide bond program. His work has involved projects across more than 40 jurisdictions in Texas. During his time at Sierra Management Group, he advised the California Municipal Finance Authority on various public benefit financing efforts.
Mr. McCormick also serves as the finance manager at Granite Municipal Advisors and as president of Lone Star PACE, a program focused on property-assessed clean energy financing. He has worked to expand Lone Star PACE’s project volume over the past several years. Outside of his work, Mr. McCormick participates in civic efforts in Frisco, TX, and enjoys cycling, fishing, and skiing.
