I am the founder of Kenneth Copeland Ministries, a global organization I started with my wife Gloria in 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas. For over 58 years, I have preached the uncompromised Word of God to believers across six continents and 159 countries. I host the daily Believer's Voice of Victory broadcast, have authored more than 72 books, and founded the VICTORY Channel, a 24/7 Christian television network. Before entering ministry, I was a Billboard Top 40 recording artist, a U.S. Army veteran, and a commercial airline pilot. In 2018, I established Kenneth Copeland Bible College to train the next generation of ministers. Everything I do centers on one message: Jesus is Lord.
Recorded “Pledge of Love” at his first recording session in November 1956 with producer Joe M. Leonard Jr. of Lin Records; the single was licensed to Imperial Records and entered the Billboard Top 40 on April 20, 1957, climbing to No. 17 nationally and charting for 15 weeks.
Appeared on American Bandstand and was featured alongside Ricky Nelson in Dig Magazine, with industry insiders comparing his trajectory to that of Elvis Presley.
Received a U.S. Army draft notice at the height of the record’s momentum; served active duty while the single climbed the charts, ending his entertainment career.
Worked as a commercial airline pilot beginning in 1959, pursuing his childhood passion for aviation before answering the call to ministry.
