Based in New York, Ken Mathieson is an investment professional who serves as the managing director of Laidlaw Asset Management, a full-service investment bank that he co-founded in 2017. Since founding the organization, Ken Mathieson has led it to work with a variety of corporations, multi-generational investors, and more.
Alongside this, Mr. Mathieson holds over three decades of experience in the industry, during which time, he has worked with firms such as Morgan Stanley and Steward Partners, where he served as a wealth manager, among other roles. During this time, he has worked with clients to develop a well-structured investment strategy to help them achieve their financial goals.
Before working in the financial sector, Ken Mathieson studied marine transportation at SUNY Maritime College, earning a BS. He returned to university in 1986 to pursue an MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson, which he gained in 1988. Outside of his career, he enjoys golf and Broadway plays.
