I was hired as the Social Media Intern for Pine Cove Crier Creek to manage the Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter account of the camp.
I post three times every week on each platform, respond to direct messages and comments, and maintain the portrayed character of Crier Creek through social media.
As media content creator, I was assigned to manage the media platforms for a Pine Cove Christian family camp in Columbus, TX.
Each day, I was tasked with posting blogs to WordPress, which updated parents about the day's events, taking pictures of campers to post them to the camp's application, and posting on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
As one of the health assistants, I helped with management of camper and staff medications, monitored camper temperatures through the presence of COVID19, worked with the registered nurse on sight to help those who needed assistance, and completed various logistical tasks, such as logging health forms, which were be beneficial to the health of the camp.
Every week, I was assigned to a group of girls of one age group to mentor throughout their times at camp. Days consisted of walking with them through camp activities, Bible studies, serving families at meals, and relational growth with each child. I worked specifically with three and four year olds, sixth graders, and tenth graders.
