An established environmental health and safety (EHS) professional, Keith W. (Walter) Pillich serves Vlado Engineering as a manager and EHS specialist. Performing in this role since 2016, Keith W. Pillich works globally to provide EHS services wherever they are required. He previously served in the Middle East during the Iraq war, and received the US Army Distinguished Service Award for his efforts. He has also taught EHS at local post-secondary education institutes and served as a judge for the Western New York Science Congress.
Prior to accepting his role at Vlado Engineering, Mr. Pillich was employed by Tesla and tasked with managing all safety-related aspects of the company’s establishment of an extensive solar manufacturing plant. This build-out project involved the construction of a 1-million-square-foot facility. He received recognition in a number of safety-related areas for his contribution to the project.
Keith Walter Pillich possesses EHS industry certifications including Red Cross First Aid Trainer, Industrial Hygiene Representative, OSHA Safety Trainer, and HAZWOPER Trainer. He holds an associate of science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science from the University of Buffalo.
