Karthik Marupeddi

Karthik Marupeddi is a Senior Software Engineer at TIGA, The Integration Group of Americas, based in Fort Bend County, Texas. With over 10 years of experience in the software development field, he has significantly contributed to TIGA's mission to improve operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across industrial sectors. He specializes in systems integration and engineering services, particularly in the energy, oil, and gas industries, where his work helps streamline complex processes and optimize asset management.

Originally from India, Marupeddi moved to the United States 15 years ago to pursue his higher education. He completed his Master’s degree, which laid the foundation for his career in software engineering. Over the years, he has developed expertise in various technical areas, allowing him to contribute to high-impact projects and deliver effective solutions to industry challenges.

Marupeddi joined TIGA in 2019, where he was responsible for developing IOps, a software system that integrates SCADA systems to optimize the management of oil and gas assets. This platform allows users to monitor and control assets remotely, reducing operational risks and increasing efficiency. Additionally, he worked on developing Messenger+, a platform that analyzes input data to forecast scheduling, capacity, and location challenges for businesses. His experience with front-end technologies like Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS ensured that these platforms were robust and easy to navigate for end users.

Before joining TIGA, Marupeddi began his professional career at Verizon Business in Richardson, Texas, where he worked as a Software Developer. His role involved creating web-based applications that enabled Verizon’s clients to manage their services effectively. One of his major projects was the development of E-Bonding, a platform that allowed business customers to generate orders and manage trouble tickets. He contributed to the design and development of web services and worked on seamless data integration between different systems, improving operational workflows and the customer experience.

After his time at Verizon, Marupeddi joined the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare as a Java Developer. During his tenure there, he contributed to developing several state applications, including IBES, e-Verify, and Idalink. These applications determined eligibility for public assistance programs like food stamps and Medicaid. He applied agile methodologies to enhance these applications, ensuring they could process and exchange data efficiently across various state departments.

Marupeddi’s next role took him to ABB in Sugarland, Texas, where he worked as a Software Engineer. At ABB, he developed the nMarket Suite, a platform used in the energy sector for transaction management, scheduling, and reporting. His work helped energy companies streamline their operations by improving the tools for managing bids, positions, and settlements.
