Curiosity
Wigglytuff shares the same species name with Jigglypuff, Igglybuff, Qwilfish and Drifloon: are all known as Balloon Pokémon.
On first appearances, the white belly Wigglytuff came under the mouth, while the newer ones get over it.
Wigglytuff PS has the highest base all Sprite Pokémon.
Origin
Wigglytuff is probably a combination of a rabbit, a balloon and a plush doll. Like the pre-evolutions remembers the Kirby character. It could also relate to the lunar rabbit, Asian mythological creature, given the fact that evolves with Moon Stone.
Origin of name
The Wigglytuff name is a combination of English wiggly (sinuous, indicating the way he moves and his shaky form) and tuff (tufa, perhaps referring to its form or to its resistance) or tuft (tuft).
Its Japanese name, プ ク リ ン Pukurin, may simply be a corruption of プ リ ン purin (pudding). It can also be a combination of ぷ り ぷ り PuriPuri (in a flash), く り く り kurikuri (round, large) 风 船 fusen (ball) and 膨 れ る fukureru (expand, swell).
In other lingueZubat is a dual-type Pokémon Poison / Flying introduced in the first generation.
It evolves into Golbat starting at level 22 and then in Crobat via happiness.
