Joseph Brvenik, a recent homeschool graduate from Katy, TX, will attend Texas State Technical College (TSTC) this fall to pursue a career in cybersecurity. At 18, he’s excited to enter a fast-growing industry where his TSTC training will equip him with essential skills and certifications to thrive in healthcare, finance, and software.
Outside of academics, Joseph has been dedicated to motocross since he was seven. The sport gives him a sense of adventure and self-reliance and requires him to master physical and mental challenges.
Homeschooling gives him the flexibility to balance his passion for racing with his education, allowing him to travel for competitions and practice. In addition to motocross, he enjoys mountain biking, graphic design, and woodworking. His creativity and technical skills shine through in these hobbies. With a well-rounded set of interests and a drive for success, Joseph is ready for the next phase of his journey at TSTC and beyond.
