As Engineering and Quality Manager I am in charge of 5 Engineers, 10 Technical BOM coders (including BOM leader) and 22 QA auditors (including 2 QA Leaders)
The main responsibility is to properly deploy a functional quality culture across the facility, integrating innovation, excellence and team work.
Duties includes the Plant Quality metrics which are but not finalize in field customer complains, scrap, first pass yield, finished goods defects, In-Process inspection and poor quality costs.
On the Engineering side, assure BOM creation in no less than 24 hours with the accuracy expected by internal and external customers.
Kaizen leading and cooperation for improve processes.
Assure Product and Quality Engineers properly introduce new products in the Focus Factories
