About Me
Jonathan Clark Green is a respected presence in the Illinois legal community who serves as supervisor with the City of Chicago Department of Law. Part of the Federal Civil Rights Litigation Division, Jonathan Clark Green has first or second-chaired 14 jury trials to verdict for the City spanning both federal and state court, the majority of which were complex cases taking several days, or weeks, in court to resolve. In total, he has taken, supervised, and defended more than 200 depositions for the City, including expert and state evidence depositions. He previously served as assistant attorney general with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General where he also concentrated in civil litigation, including jury trials.

Mr. Green is committed to serving his community and is currently an advisory member of the Little City Foundation’s board of directors, supporting services for those with developmental disabilities and autism. Also active with the South East and Central Lake View Neighbors Associations, Mr. Green has been a resident in the Lake View community for two decades and is a member of the Lake View Citizens Council. Since he has international law practice experience, having worked as a visiting attorney at a Belgium law firm, he is also active in the Chicago-Paris Sister Cities Committee. Mr. Green also regularly volunteers for Top Box Foods, a not-for profit providing fresh foods to Chicago's neediest neighborhoods.
