About Me
When knowledge is spread, it is contagious and it serves. I enjoy empowering and teaching the knowledge I have gained. It is often observed, so I've felt, that technology specialist would rather keep the user in the dark than share basic technology information. I do not believe in this. I am a teacher at heart, a helper and sharer of knowledge.

A gift has been given, I believe, the ability to share what I know through understandable examples and analogies that enable the people I come in contact with to understand and not fear technology.

I've become accustomed through my experience, to being well rounded in as many direct technology aspects of small business needs as humanly possible. This can often be difficult, and I am not afraid to admit that often times being well rounded can be stressful. However, challenges can be met with a cool head, patience, discipline, and a willingness to learn and serve others.

Detailed Description
  • The largest undertaking in my years with HCI evolved from help desk support to application development. I was able to migrate a great deal of the school's intake data and secure it locally in a database. I developed a new web presence for the company, a graphical user interface for staff, online education resources, online class and course registration forms, customized outputs for reports and certificate printing, automated renewal scheduling for mailings and notifications through an administrative portal.

This was not the first time I've worked with HCI. I also worked during the summer of 2003 full time, again designing intake forms with Access. The company is thriving in a difficult market, and was very pleased with the work done.
