As a paralegal with the Padilla Law Group in the northern Detroit suburb of Birmingham, Michigan, John Biernat looks forward to a successful career as an attorney. His duties with Padilla Law revolve around assisting in general trial preparation in a variety of ways. In addition to conducting intake interviews and generally communicating with clients, John Biernat regularly writes case evaluation, arbitration, and facilitation summaries.
Mr. Biernat passed the Michigan State bar exam in 2018 and earned his juris doctor (JD) from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2017. While working toward his JD, he served three years as class treasurer for the extended-evening student body and made the dean’s list for two years straight. In the summer of 2016, John Biernat completed an externship for Michigan Supreme Court justice David Viviano.
In his free time, he regularly lifts weights and plays several different musical instruments. Also a well-traveled globetrotter, Mr. Biernat likes to study foreign languages and cultures.
