The holder of a BA in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Mr. Jackintell graduated summa cum laude. From 1985 to 2002, he was the senior vice president of Shearson Lehman Brothers in Santa Barbara, where he oversaw the management of diversified funds totaling $200 million. He earned recognition by being in the nation’s top 1 percent of financial consultants and professional money managers.
Mr. Jackintell maintains a strong focus on fitness and is active in ultramarathon and triathlon clubs. He has taken part in numerous running events for charity and was recognized by the Special Olympics. This reflected Mr. Jackintell’s success in raising more than $10 million from county and city government entities on behalf of the nonprofit organization.
