Martin Jenkins is the Founder and Principal of the Jenkins Family Office, a private investment company. The JFO takes a comprehensive approach to international diversification, investing across agriculture, real estate, public and private and venture equities, credit and fixed income, alternatives, commodities, collectibles, and infrastructure. This breadth is intentional. It is designed to insulate the portfolio from disruption in global financial markets, capture opportunity across both developed and emerging economies, and withstand the kind of exogenous shocks that can unsettle even traditional safe-harbor assets. The result is a family office that stays resilient through uncertain economic conditions and focused on long-term preservation.
Martin brings two decades of advisory experience to that mission. As Founder and CEO of Oxford Place, he counseled prominent, multinational, closely held family businesses, roughly two dozen of them between 1999 and 2019, on succession, the hardest task a family enterprise faces. His specialty was building the governance frameworks, among them Family Investment Committees, Shareholder Boards, and Family Boards, that let clients manage complex, diversified assets across generations. He has lectured on Family Wealth Transition at Columbia University in New York and at Cambridge University in the UK.
