A resident of Rahway, New Jersey, Jean Zahore has over 15 years of experience in information technology (IT) and IT security. In 2016, Jean Zahore founded Healthcare IT Leadership. The company aims to maintain secure access to patient health information through various practices including the integration of electronic devices with EHR. With increasing threat of ransomware to healthcare and critical infrastructure organizations, Mr. Zahore provides direction on preventing and responding to ransomware-caused data breaches. He encourages organizations to adopt a high state of awareness and implement the protection of sensitive and personal information
Earlier in his career, Mr. Zahore developed proficiencies in healthcare IT in various roles at East Orange General Hospital. As its network services manager, he supported new initiatives through a three-year strategic plan with a $1.5 million budget. He later worked as an IT specialty consultant and project manager for the City of Orange, a role in which he designed and implemented the Orange Police Department’s information technology systems.
Mr. Zahore studied management of information systems (MIS) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Later, he earned his master of science in MIS from Kean University. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and belongs to the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Outside his professional life, Jean Zahore enjoys taking walks in the park and watching basketball games. His other interests include jazz, travel, and action movies.
