Jason Woerz has worked in finance since graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 1999 with a bachelor of science in business. After graduating, Jason Woerz joined Viacom, where he served as a treasury analyst for two years.
During this time, he was hedging interest rates and foreign currency exposures. He subsequently began pursuing a master’s of business administration in international finance at New York University, graduating in 2004.
While pursuing the degree, Mr. Woerz worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb as a manager in its capital markets department. Focusing on similar areas as in his previous job, he issued short-term, unsecured debt while handling billions of dollars in foreign currency exposures.
Since 2019, he has worked with the Connecticut-based 24 Exchange Bermuda, where he serves as president. Since starting the role, Jason Woerz has received the Trade Tech FX Shark Tank Award; additionally, the company received the FIA Innovator Award. He regularly takes part in trading conferences as a speaker. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and delicious food.
