An experienced certified public accountant (CPA) who holds active membership in the Society of Louisiana CPAs, James Castille owns and operates LUMA Capital in Lafayette, Louisiana. His work with this financial services firm and business management/insurance consultancy ranges from optimizing client cash flow to negotiating with financial institutions, vendors, consumers, and tax agencies on his clients’ behalf. Acting as interim president and chief financial officer, James Castille has led a number of companies through productive business turnarounds.
From his headquarters in Lafayette, he concurrently serves as chief financial officer of the Empire Group in Summit, Mississippi. Since assuming this position in 2016, he has contributed to a senior management team that has tripled sales volume and increased overall profits by 200 percent.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Castille worked as a chief financial officer with the oil services company Cobb Energy, and as an auditor with the CPA firm Broussard, Poche, Lewis, & Breaux. He holds a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
