About Me
Bogotá, Colombia, resident Jaime Lombana is an experienced criminal lawyer, law professor, and author. Jaime Lombana has served as a professor at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogota Colombia since 1996, where he has taught a range of classes, including general and special criminal law. Since 1999, he also directed the International Conference on Criminal Law at the university. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Lombana taught at the Universidad Sergio Arboleda as a professor of general criminal law.

He is also the founder and owner of Jaime Lombana Villalba & Abogados law firm, where he has managed some of the nation’s most notorious cases. In addition, he served as an alternate judge with the Consejo Superior de la Judicatura from 2003 to 2008.

Mr. Lombana has written several legal-themed books, including Criminal Law and Medical Responsibility. He has also contributed his writing to additional publications, including The International Criminal Court.

Jaime Lombana earned his PhD in law at the Universidad de León and attended the University of Salamanca, where he earned post-graduate degrees in general criminal law and special criminal law. He also holds a master's degree in international politics from the Free University of Brussels.
