An award-winning educational consultant based in Monroe, Connecticut, Jack Zamary joined Monroe Public Schools as the director of information technology and operations in 2012. Following nearly 5 years in this role, he advanced to the position of assistant superintendent of schools, followed by more than 2 years as superintendent of Monroe Public Schools. Earlier in his career, Jack Zamary spent time as the principal of Middlebury Elementary School. During this time, he successfully led a fundraising initiative that provided all Middlebury Elementary classrooms with SmartBoards.
Mr. Zamary holds bachelor and master’s degrees in music education from the University of Connecticut, as well as a doctor of education in educational leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the National Association for Music Education and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. He has achieved various professional designations during his career, including a certification in Connecticut School Business Officer and Connecticut Intermediate Administration and Supervision and a Connecticut Superintendent of Schools certification.
