  • My role was important within the day to day running of our Learning Management System (LMS) which was recently implemented to the business. Helping to provide a streamlined and more structured administration and technical support process, ensuring the success of the LMS and the learning it housed.

    >Support and ensure the smooth running of events delivered by 6 trainers, across both the Learning & Development team and IT Training team, throughout 13 offices in the UK.
    >Arrange and schedule the weekly New Starter Induction across a number of locations. The scheduling of this weekly task meant having to troubleshoot any scheduling or location issues in advance so that new starters joined the business as smoothly as possible.
    >Complex system requirements meant that organisation and flexibility were key when accommodating late changes and additions to the induction. This was key as quick responses and advice were important in this highly demanding role. Thus allowing me to be extremely customer focused.
    >I have also assisted in the uploading of Elearning content to the business.

  • I gained much experience within this role which allowed me to create myself an opportunity and job role in the Learning & Development department. This role allowed me to utilise my skills and interest in Information Technology whilst continuing to engage with colleagues, stakeholders and customers. Meeting deadlines, prioritising workloads and managing customer expectations are key components of the Postroom Assistant role, all of which I fulfilled on a daily basis.
  • This role allowed me to utilise my customer service knowledge and engagement. Working to a busy non-stop schedule and prioritisation were also key factors of this job. When I wasn't working on the phones I was occasionally called into the warehouse to offer support
