Imran Husain is a Santa Monica-based entrepreneur who directs IH Investments, LLC, and focuses on real estate transactions spanning multifamily and commercial properties. Also seeking out value in emerging private startups, he excels in identifying opportunities for growth. Imran Husain previously served as CEO of American Business Investments, where he facilitated mergers involving public and private companies, as well as consulted with family-owned businesses in Africa. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Husain guided Converge Global, Inc., as CEO and oversaw an entity that encompassed several subsidiaries, from an Internet-based incubator to a software service provider. Guiding the efforts of approximately 60 employees worldwide, he directed the launch of sites such as digitalmen.com and founded the software company Esstec. Mr. Husain holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida International University, and began competing in formula car race events in the early 1990s while still an undergraduate. Having had a pioneering role in the sport as a driver from India, Imran Husain was able to compete in the Freedom 100, an Indianapolis 500 support race, in 2005.
