- miDiagnostics is a spinoff company from imec founded in 2015 and develops microfluidic chip solutions for personalized diagnostics.
- Responsibilities
- Interaction with foundry suppliers for R&D and transfer of processes for high volume production
- Leading and hiring of a team of scientists, process engineers and chemists esponsible for development and testing of microfluidic chips
- Achievements
- Proposed design changes to improve critical technical issues on the fabrication based on measurement results
- Enhanced the cycle time of the development process and applied cost saving measures
- Implemented a new chemical vapor deposition tool for process development supplier negotiations, transport and hookup in our clean-room
- Implemented a team collaboration platform for planning
- Started a project on the development for high-throughput test system automation with wafer-scale microfluidic testing and computer vision
