About Me
The managing director of Los Angeles, California’s Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, Houssem Tasco draws on nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to provide strategic leadership. Before that, he spent five years as an executive committee member with the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star modern luxury hotel. Houssem Tasco joined the hotel during its pre-opening phase, helping hire and train staff and implementing an upsell program that resulted in an incremental revenue increase of $1 million per year.
A native of Tunisia, Mr. Tasco has managed hotel operations in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Las Vegas. In addition to hotel management, he has gained broad experience in hotel real estate investment, sales strategy, and asset management. He holds a bachelor of science in hospitality management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
When he is not overseeing operations at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard, he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. Since 2020, he has served as an advisory board member with the University of California Irvine’s Division of Continuing Education.
