A versatile administrator and project manager, Heather Kulwin has been a building code analyst with the city of Indianapolis since 2008. To aid and inform her daily work, she holds certification in areas ranging from permitting to commercial inspection. Heather Kulwin is also certified to examine both commercial and residential building plans, with a particular emphasis on accessibility review. Before finding employment with the city of Indianapolis, Heather Kulwin worked for the information technology department of Bridgestone Firestone Diversified Products, assisting with the implementation of business unit SAP software.
Outside of the professional arena, Heather Kulwin supports the charitable and public service endeavors of the Junior League of Indianapolis and the Christamore House Guild. For the 2017/2018 year, the Christamore House Guild voted her “Best First Year Member.” Ms. Kulwin also has a history of involvement with the Hooverwood Nursing Home. She sat on the board of directors for Hooverwood for two decades, and ultimately retired as its vice president.
