I can surely say that I am a socially active, disciplined and hard-working person with a friendly nature. Usually, I set myself different kinds of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals. For me, it is extremely important to have a life vision and future plans, and I have ambitious plans about my future life, thus I make these goals in order to be successful in both personal and professional life.
I did my Bachelor's degree in the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan, and I was studying Electrical Engineering. I finished my studies with a GPA of 80 out of 100. I would not say that I was the top student in my group however, I would say that I had more practical skills in my area of interest than other students of our group; I always try to make experiments with electrical machines rather than only reading textbooks and research papers. For example, we had a course namely Electrical Traction and Drives, and in that course we have learned how to control the speed of electric locomotives; I had learned all the principles of controlling speed of electric motors, and I made a small model of traction system of electric locomotive which powered by 6 DC motors. In order to control the speed of these motors I have implemented several methods to the system, which are controlled by an Arduino microcontroller, such as changing the connection type of motors from series to series-parallel and parallel; adding some resistance to the circuit; increasing speed of motors by reducing excitation of field windings. Whole prosses should be controlled automatically by the microcontroller for safety reasons. So, not only I learned how to control the speed of DC motors but also, I learned how to use, and program Arduino throughout this project. Now, I am planning to do my Masters's degree research in the field of electrical machines.
As a rule, at the end of every academic year, my university sent us to different companies and power plants with groups. So, in 2018, some of my group mates and I have been sent to Janub Power Plant for a short period of time (about a month) in order to get some work experience. During this temporary job, I have learned different technical aspects of electricity production: from desalination of water for the boiler to generating and transmitting electricity.
I've worked at McDonald's for almost 2 years. And in these 2 years, I improved my communication skills significantly. Usually, we had had a lot of customers in our restaurant every day, thus not only I learned how to work under pressure for a long period of time but also I learned how to communicate with people who have different backgrounds, life views and culture.
I always try to work with international companies in order to improve my English and sharpen my soft skills. Working at Formula 1 with the international team was a unique experience for me.
I've worked here for only 3 days. But I can surely say that it was a great experience. We were working at Formula 1 Paddock Club; I've used "we" because this was a teamwork. Working at international company and with professional team members from different countries, was a great opportunity to sharpen my people skills.
