Vascular surgeon Dr. Hardeep Ahluwalia has practiced minimally invasive treatments for diverse venous diseases, ranging from deep vein thrombosis to varicose veins. In addition to leading California Vein & Vascular Centers in Los Altos, Dr. Hardeep Ahluwalia serves in a consulting capacity at several California-based medical companies.
Dr. Ahluwalia has worked as the chief medical officer at the medical device company Venclose for more than five years. As the chief executive officer of Seismic Warning Systems, Inc., he has also contributed to the development of statewide earthquake detection protocols. Additionally, he sits on the advisory board of the medical startup InterVene.
An alumnus of Harvard, Duke Medical, and New York University, Dr. Hardeep Ahluwalia completed his general surgery residency at the Creighton University School of Medicine. As a reflection of his interest in golf and athlete performance, he earned TPI Level 1 certification in a concept known as Body-Swing Connection, which is used to assess a player’s swing technique.
