I am a very hard worker and a motivated person. I have recently finished my undergraduate English degree at the The University of Hull and will begin a Masters study in September. I have aspirations of teaching English Studies around the world.
Working at Rock Up has given me the opportunity to work a number of roles with different responsibilities. I work in the climbing arena, maintaining a safe climbing arena for up to forty climbers at any given time, as well as providing excellent customer service and assisting anyone who is unsure of any particular climbing techniques. I also work on the reception, taking cash and card payments through the till systems VEND and OBS. In addition, whilst on reception I answer telephone calls, make online bookings and answer any enquiries made by customers. Furthermore, I also work in the cafe, preparing hot and cold foods and coffees on a Lavazza barista machine. Whilst working in the cafe I have also been a party host, responsible for catering for parties as well as looking after party guests.

I had a number of roles at St Mary's College including: working one to one with student both SEN and mainstream, leading in ALP classes which supported students who needed additionally literacy support, running clubs at dinner time, being on duty around the school during dinner and break times, photocopying files and work for students and teaching staff, answering phones and calling parents and outside school companies, working on computers, planning lessons, finding and making resources, accompanied and supporting students on out of school trips, aided in GCSE revision classes.

Whilst working as a role of a cleaner, I cleaned various places of the Sixth Form Building at St Mary's College. My roles included: wiping tables and chairs, vacuuming classrooms and offices, dusting, mopping large areas of corridors and eating areas, cleaning toilets, cleaning mirrors and windows, handling cleaning chemicals, safely storing cleaning supplies and equipment and most usual cleaning duties.

While working at Ganton Special School, I have took on many different roles and responsibilities. I aided children in their learning during lessons both in a group and working one to one with individual students. I additionally have aided students, teaching assistants and teachers during many different lessons and activities including PE lessons, swimming lessons, community visits, play rehearsals and performances, cooking, music lessons and math’s. During my time working at Ganton Special School I gave all that I could in helping those around me whenever they have needed it, by cutting my breaks shorts and coming in on extra days when needed. I happily did anything I was asked to do as well as using my own initiative to do things I know were needed to be done, and could save other staff members time. I also assisted the staff in my classroom by photocopying, searching for classroom resources on the internet, helping order classroom supplies, laminating, etc.
