About Me
Corpus Christi resident Guy Williams began his career in law as a special agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service in 1978. He later served in a similar role with the Internal Revenue Service, though by this point he had started to specialize in defending personal injury and workers’ compensation claims as a trial attorney for Phillips & Akers in Houston, Texas. In 1994, he opened the Guy Williams Law Office in Corpus Christi. He continued in this position until being named a judge with the 148th District Court, a role he held for 7 years before stepping down and returning to his trial and appellate practice, where he emphasizes criminal and civil law.
Mr. Williams holds an associate of arts from Del Mar College and a bachelor of science from Texas A & M. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas A & M with a major in criminal justice and a minor in accounting and business administration. He earned his juris doctor from the South Texas College of Law in 1987 and later completed graduate coursework in Spanish at Texas A & M.
