For more than 30 years, Dr. Grace Walker has served as an Occupational and Physical Therapist at Walker Physical Therapy and Pain Center. Also its owner, Walker provides outpatient treatment to patients with conditions such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, and temporomandibular joint disorders. To prepare for her career, Walker acquired a bachelor of science in physical therapy and occupational therapy from the University of British Columbia School of Rehabilitation Medicine. Subsequently, she completed postgraduate work at an Orthopedic Residency Program in Hayward, California, and wrote a thesis about examining patients with lower back pain to discover precipitating factors.
After gaining experience in physical therapy through her Orange, California, facility, Grace Walker returned to school to obtain additional credentials. As a student at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Utah, she took postgraduate courses toward a doctor of physical therapy and a doctor of occupational therapy and graduated as valedictorian. She has also been certified as a Clinical Nutritionist and a Certified Clinical Master of Herbology with the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy.
