I worked in the Confectionary Finance Team in Nestlé UK&I, whose main objective is to work together with Nestlé businesses looking after their P&L and providing them with Financial Information for Decision Making and Brand Investment.
My main project during my internship was to run an internal and external review on three of Nestlé's major customers (Iceland Foods Ltd., Morrisons Ltd. and J Sainsbury plc) to review how Nestlé's internal performance tracks with customer performance.
Detailed Description
This included:
Performing historic analysis of the customers P&L for last four years
Review of forecast performance for 2016
Review of what has happened over the last 3-4 years with the customers (e.g. grocer share, category share, structural changes, acquisitions)
In addition to the main project, I was also involved with commercial presentation preparation, post evaluation data quality improvement, trading call support and shadowing senior colleagues
