Serving as Guidewell Care Solutions’ senior medical director, Gordon B. Kuttner, MD, JD, MBA, CHC is a Medicare Advantage physician executive who focuses on transformative solutions that improves the care of the Medicare population. Experienced in areas such as compliance and quality management, Dr. Gordon B. Kuttner emphasizes an omni-channel approach that optimizes communication so that each member can achieve their fullest heath potential.
Dr. Kuttner previously served as chief medical officer with the multinational Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he ensured that the company’s digital health care business process services were effective in improving the delivery of health care to US clients. He made sure that services provided met federal and state regulatory mandates, while driving transformational efforts to reduce expenses and increase efficiencies while optimizing quality of care. He has also worked as the chief medical officer and senior medical director for national managed care plans.
Previously holding responsibilities as dean of clinical sciences with St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Kuttner was one of the senior academic officials for an Orlando, Florida based institution that maintains basic science facilities on the Caribbean island of Grand Cayman and ensured the seamless evaluation and operation of third and fourth-year clerkship rotation sites spanning North America and the United Kingdom. Gordon Kuttner, MD, also held academic faculty appointments as the division director at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine and Albany Medical College.
