Based in De Pere, Wisconsin, Father Jay Fostner serves as vice president of missions and student affairs at St. Norbert College, where he has worked since 1997. In this role, he oversees many departments, including campus safety and residential housing, as well programs such as the Sturzl Center for Community Service and Learning and the Program for Faith. He also sits on the president’s cabinet. During his time at the college, Father Jay Fostner has secured million-dollar endowments for campus initiatives and achieved Carnegie recognition for excellence in service learning. He has also helped increase student of color retention from 40 to 90 percent. He is also an assistant professor.
Prior to taking on his current role, Father Fostner served as vice president for missions and heritage at the college. He concurrently acts as a consultant with the American Foundation of Counseling Services in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He holds multiple degrees, including a master of divinity in theology and a doctor of philosophy in clinical psychology.
