The founder of The Allergy Clinic in San Mateo, California, Dr. Andrew Engler strives to help patients improve their quality of life by treating conditions such as hay fever, food allergies, asthma, eczema, and hives. Additionally, Dr. Andrew Engler frequently gives lectures to other physicians and health care providers, helping them learn to more effectively treat patients with allergies and asthma.
Dr. Engler received a bachelor of arts in philosophy from Stanford University, where his academic standing in the top 1.5 percent of his class earned him election to the Phi Beta Kappa society. After two years as a medical student at Yale, he returned to Stanford to pursue his medical degree. He completed an internship and residency at Stanford University Hospital.
A member of several professional organizations, Dr. Engler belongs to the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the Northern California Allergy Association, and the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America. When he is not working, he enjoys swimming and doing Pilates.
