A longtime resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, Emily Kiburz-Grimes is an experienced teacher and trainer who most recently served as a learning and development specialist at Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's. From 2018 to 2019, she helped train approximately 20,000 affiliated employees on the implementation of the Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's CLUB customer loyalty program. While employed by Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's, Emily Kiburz-Grimes completed business training of her own, earning Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
Before entering the world of corporate training, Emily Kiburz-Grimes served for 11 years as an English language learners’ (ELL) teacher with Lincoln Public Schools, working with students in the ninth through twelfth grades. For the last three years of her tenure with LPS, she spearheaded ELL operations as a team leader. In that position, Ms. Grimes led staff training initiatives, analyzed key student achievement data to evaluate progress, and facilitated productive conversations among teachers, administrators, counselors, and bilingual liaisons.
