A global account technology strategist with the New York City offices of Microsoft, Effie Kilmer recently secured Microsoft certification in Azure Fundamentals. Before joining the Microsoft team in January of 2018, she served 3 years as a business consultant and IT analyst with Publicis Sapient. New York’s Effie Kilmer’s responsibilities with Publicis Sapient included designing a digital data dashboard for a company project management platform and delivering functional requirements for post-trade solution processing web application enhancements.
While working toward her bachelor of science in computer information systems at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, she completed internships with several large finance companies, including Morgan Stanley. She also managed sponsor partnerships and coordinated long-distance meetings for the global chef championship Bocuse d'Or USA.
Cooking remains one of her favorite hobbies. She also enjoys reading and traveling. In an effort to give back to the general public, she has volunteered to tutor children in math through the nonprofit organization Hour Children.
