A neurologist based in Kentucky, Dr. Sujata Gutti has treated a variety of neuromuscular conditions as the head of the Pikeville Neurology Clinic and Diagnostic Center for 15 years. A native of India, Dr. Sujata Gutti completed her medical school education at Pandit Jawaharlal Medical College and her rotary internship at Dau Kalyan Hospital.
Following her rotary internship, Dr. Gutti passed her ECFMG exams, completed internship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center’s Department of Internal Medicine, and later residency in Neurology at the University of Kentucky medical center earned board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She also received training in electroencephalography, electromyography, neuropathology and neurocritical care. Later earned her board certification from the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine as well.
Outside her private practice, Dr. Sujata Gutti has served as a clinical professor of neurology at the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine for over two decades and as clinical faculty for the Pikeville Medical Center residency program. She has engaged in research on Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis and maintains memberships with the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
