An experienced anesthesiologist, Dr. Khaled Amr has served as a medical director in Columbus, Ohio, for the past 8 years. After directing the Columbus Addiction Center and Columbus Pain Specialists for 2 years, he took on additional responsibilities as a medical director at the Columbus Medical Center. Dr. Khaled Amr’s work at the Columbus Medical Center places him in charge of a team of medical professionals who perform pain surgical procedures and treat patients with narcotic addiction issues.
Dr. Amr formerly practiced pediatric anesthesiology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown. He is certified through the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds active membership in multiple clinical organizations, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Society of Pediatric Anesthesia, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Outside of the professional arena, Dr. Khaled Amr is an avid traveler. He also enjoys swimming and hiking.
