The recipient of a bachelor's degree in business from Salem State University, Diane Kanady began her career as a corporate account executive at Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard, Massachusetts. She spent 15 years in this position, during which time she earned the Decathlon Top 5 Percent Sales Award seven times for her success in designing and delivering sales training programs to companies in the telecommunications and aerospace industries. In addition, Diane Kanady earned the Woman Executive Award and served on the company's women's advisory council.
After obtaining a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Rider University in 1999, Diane Kanady started volunteering at several hospice facilities through the Commonwealth. . She did this for 17 years, and concurrently working at a large teaching hospital during the latter 9 years.
Ms. Kanady's most recent position at the hospital was as a Patient and Family Advisory Council program manager. This involved coordinating meetings and activities with the hospital's patient experience team and representing the hospital at international conferences. In addition to her professional endeavors, she enjoys playing golf and ultimate Frisbee.
