A private equity professional with over a decade of experience in the industry, Demetrios Dounis is a partner at a Connecticut -based firm, where he is responsible for managing all aspects of the investment process. Joining the firm in 2007, Demetrios Dounis has spent over a decade plus guiding investments in a number of companies, while also sitting on many of their boards following the firm's investment.
During this time, he has gained experience operating within a range of industries, putting a particular focus on the nice industrial and consumer sectors. Before the role, he gained experience with the full-service private equity firm called Circle Peak Capital, where he served as an Associate. While there, he partnered with Golden Gate Capital while closing a $120 million buyout of a global footwear brand.
Alongside holding a bachelor of science in accounting, Demetrios Dounis is a graduate of Chicago Booth, where he earned a master of business administration in entrepreneurship, finance, and strategic management.
A member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Our Saviour in Rye, he is also involved in the Putnam Indian Fields School nonprofit, where he is a trustee.
