• Actively engaged in gaining practical experience and assisting in the expansion and establishment of the PC laboratory • Shared my knowledge in PC usage with students as a laboratory demonstrator • Engaged with the Department of Computer Science and gained insight into the work of the department, such as Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) - a general name for a whole class of problems concerning the optimal design of routes • Through the Department of Computer Science, participated in technology presentations by Sun (Sun Server, Solaris) and Oracle (presentation of the first distributed database Oracle 10g) and played a minor role in identifying a technical solution for the Isabella cluster of the SRCE (Croatian Academic and Research Network), initiated by CERN. • During studies, also focused more on computer service and administration, learned more about Debian Linux and various other Linux distributions • Completed my student internship at Siemens Hrvatska and stayed there for some time after completing the internship (2006 – 2007). At Siemens, I experienced technical support and service for maintaining the mobile and landline networks of national and international telecommunications companies abroad and gained initial experience in a data center serving as a testbed for technical solutions.
