David Risk is an accomplished pharmaceutical packaging professional with several years of experience in the industry. He currently serves as the President of Future Pak, a 40-year old contract pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging company based in Wixom, Michigan.
Future Pak focuses on blister packaging as well as bottling, powder filing of sachets and stick packs. During his tenure at Future Pak, Mr. Risk has expanded Future Pak's capabilities to include manufacturing of prescription and OTC drugs, stick packs, and outsourced chilsonation. Mr. Risk is also the founder of Woodward Pharma Services, a virtual generic pharmaceutical manufacturer that was acquired by Future Pak in 2017. Woodward Pharma Services currently markets and sells over 10 generic products in its label covering retail, institutional and long term care distribution channels.
Before entering the industry, David Risk studied at Dartmouth College, graduating with a BA in English. While at Dartmouth, he served as captain of the men’s ice hockey team.
