David Fiszel is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Honeycomb Asset Management, a New York–based hedge fund he established in 2016 that now manages over $1.4 billion. Honeycomb runs a long/short equity and private growth strategy across technology, media, telecom, and consumer companies, guided by a simple philosophy: invest in the future and short the past.
Before Honeycomb, Fiszel spent two decades as a financial analyst at Omega Advisors and a portfolio manager at Point72, investing across public and private markets. He acquired private stakes in SpaceX, Facebook, Spotify, and Palantir well before they reached the public markets.
He established the Fiszel Family Foundation in 2018, serves on the board of NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, and sits on the advisory board of the David Lynch Foundation. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
