Dr. David Censits is a Baltimore medical professional who draws upon more than 15 years of experience as a psychiatrist and sleep-disorder specialist to provide medical and science-writing consultation services to clients. He has been working in this capacity since 2016, prior to which he worked as a physician through the medical staffing site Locum Tenens. Before this, Dr. David Censits served six years as an attending staff physician at Abington Memorial Hospital's Sleep Disorders Clinic in Pennsylvania. He concurrently operated Rittenhouse Neuropsychiatry in Philadelphia, where he provided comprehensive wellness services.
In addition to his expertise in diagnosing and treating patients who experience sleep disorders such as insomnia, excessive daytime sleepiness, and sleep apnea, Dr. David Censits served in a medical teaching capacity at Abington Memorial Hospital. He has also authored multiple sleep-related studies and presented at the American Professional Sleep Societies annual meeting. He maintains membership in the American Psychiatric Association and the Maryland Medical Society, among other professional organizations.
Along with his MD from Thomas Jefferson University’s Stanley Kimmel Medical College, Dr. Censits holds a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania medical school.
