A recovery support specialist with the Brook Recovery Center (BRC) in Braintree, Massachusetts, David Cannistraro is pleased to serve at the institution that helped him cope with his own mental health issues during the summer of 2019. He views his position at BRC as an opportunity to give back to others who are struggling. David Cannistraro formerly served as a house manager for South Shore Transformation in Plympton, Massachusetts.
Before transitioning to the addiction recovery field, Mr. Cannistraro served 27 years as a senior sales representative with the MA State Lottery in Braintree. Implementing new initiatives and managing major accounts, he received two different honors for his outstanding MA Lottery accomplishments. Earlier in his career, he managed sales for the Triangle Training Center in Malden, Massachusetts.
Outside of the professional arena, David Cannistraro enjoys learning about local history. He is also a dedicated community volunteer and an avid boating enthusiast.
