Based in Tampa, David Alvarez is an area sales manager with ACell, Inc., and he manages a team of a dozen professionals spanning Florida and southern Alabama. Among his accomplishments with ACell, David Alvarez achieved top total revenue in 2016 and top revenue growth in 2015. The range of products he sells includes surgical and wound care devices that meet the needs of surgeons in diverse specialties.
Mr. Alvarez maintains a strong presence in his professional community and regularly attends events such as the American College of Surgeons Conference and the Wound Care Symposium. He has given product presentations for a number of organizations, including the Tampa-area BayCare Health System and Broward Health System in Fort Lauderdale.
A graduate of Florida State University, Mr. Alvarez completed his BS in economics and was active as a varsity football letterman. A member of Sigma Chi, he served as new member director and social chairman with the fraternity.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing in the Pensacola International Billfish Tournament and lobstering in the Florida Keys.
