About Me
A participant at the University of California, Berkeley Coding Boot Camp, Darren Pham started his career in information technology as a system monitoring and tools intern with the IT Command Center of eBay in San Jose, California. For 5 months, he was in charge of configuring, testing, and deploying the Everbridge mass notification tool to assist the major incident management team. Darren Pham also led a project in collaboration with Dell to upgrade eBay’s Foglight monitoring tool, which resulted in a more stable and efficient system. In addition to Dell, he also worked with Quest and BMC Software to resolve IT issues and offer feedback for their software and applications.

Immediately after completing his internship, Darren Pham started his nearly 3-year career with eBay as a systems engineer. He was responsible for creating strategies, performing root cause analyses, and administering the Foglight tool. He worked on numerous projects, including a system monitoring process for Polycom video conferencing, which enabled support teams to identify and troubleshoot issues more efficiently. He also collaborated with vendors, managers, and teams to ensure the proper configuration of Everbridge.

In 2018, Darren Pham joined Splunk as a lead network operations center engineer, where he deployed Splunk stacks for customers, monitored and resolved issues with Splunk Cloud, and developed runbooks for proper documentation of new processes.
