With over two decades of pastoral experience, Darren Cowdrey is a pastor with the Aldersgate Retreat Center, operated by the United Methodist Church. In the position, Darren Cowdrey works with a range of non-profit groups, as well as helping people of all ages and from a wealth of backgrounds.
Rev. Cowdrey is a pastor with the California Pacific Conference. As pastor he is responsible for providing supervision for the congregation’s worship as well as pastoral care to many people coming from a range of cultures. He also enjoys the preaching and teaching components of the calling. As pastor, he's taken charge and led the different volunteer teams that oversee the administration of the church, including finance and human resources.
Darren Cowdrey holds a masters of divinity from the Pacific School of Religion, which he earned in 1997 before becoming ordained by the United Methodist Church. Outside of his pastoral duties, he enjoys several hobbies, such as sports and watching movies.
