An accomplished analyst and senior executive in the finance industry, Daniel Zimmerman lives in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey. He laid the foundation for his successful financial services career approximately two decades ago as a student of finance, accounting, and political science at the University of Richmond (UR) in Virginia. While attending UR, Daniel Zimmerman earned a 3.78 GPA and received an Arthur Andersen Accounting Scholarship.
Shortly after graduating with a dual bachelor of arts in finance and accounting, he accepted a position as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York City. He remained with the firm for more than 15 years, accepting a promotion to associate and then to vice president.
Mr. Zimmerman left Goldman Sachs as the office’s managing director and portfolio manager. Over the course of his Goldman Sachs career, he worked in market sectors that included telecommunications services and mortgage/specialty finance.
