As the Founder and CEO of StrongMind, Damian leads the development of a next-generation learning platform designed to support K–12 online schools and homeschool families. Under his leadership, StrongMind has evolved beyond a traditional curriculum provider into a comprehensive learning ecosystem—integrating proprietary technology, AI-powered tools, and human-centered design to bridge the gap between students, educators, and families. His work is grounded in the belief that autonomy, competence, and connection are essential psychological nutrients for learning, and that technology—when designed ethically and intentionally—can amplify, not replace, human impact.

StrongMind is the result of 15 years of research and development in the online learning industry. I founded it in 2001 as the exclusive technology and curriculum developer for Primavera Online High School.
In this highly collaborative environment, StrongMind has regularly consulted with administrators, teachers, and students in an effort to continually improve online education. Over the years this collaboration has spurred the development of technology and curriculum that continually brings new levels of innovation to adolescent learners and has helped grow Primavera into the largest high school in Arizona and one of the most successful online high schools in the country.

- Since opening our doors to a only a handful of students, Primavera has grown into the largest high school in Arizona, and one of the largest and most successful online schools in the country, serving more than 20,000 full-time and concurrent students annually. It is fully accredited through the North Central Association of Schools and sanctioned by the Arizona Department of Education.
Primavera Online School, the leader in online education in the state of Arizona, offers students a truly unique and enjoyable alternative to the traditional school experience. We deliver a rigorous, relevant and award-winning curriculum developed by StrongMind, and our courses are taught by highly-qualified and supportive instructors. As a public school, Primavera is tuition-free to all Arizona students in grades K-12.
